Born in 1968 in F\u00fcrstenfeldbruck, he began studying German philology at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich in 1980, as well as at the Latin Percussion School in Munich (graduating in 1992). He continued his studies at the University of Music and Theatre Hannover under Prof. Andreas B\u00f6ttger, graduating in 1999.<\/p>\n

He has been involved in world premieres and collaborations with composers such as George Crumb, Adriana H\u00f6lszky, Wilfried Kaets, and Steffen Schleiermacher. He has also taught at the University of Music and Theatre Hannover.<\/p>\n

He has participated in radio, television, and CD productions with Ensemble Modern in Frankfurt and the Linos Ensemble in Cologne. Additionally, he performed world premieres with composers Harald Weiss and Anette Schl\u00fcnz as part of the EXPO 2000 in Hannover.<\/p>\n

He has held positions as a percussionist at the Lower Saxony State Theatre Hannover, the Oldenburg State Theatre, the G\u00f6ttingen Symphony Orchestra, and the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra.
