Action:
The clumsy street photographer Buster (Buster Keaton) is plagued by bad luck. When he meets the beautiful Sally (Marceline Day), he immediately falls hopelessly in love. Sally works as a secretary for the MGM newsreel. In order to win her heart and be near her, Luke gets a job as a cameraman for the MGM newsreel but delivers nothing but disastrous results. Sally then suggests he film the New Year’s celebration in Chinatown:
And indeed, a wild shootout between mafia gangs of the Chinese Triads ensues… Comedy legend “Stoneface” Buster Keaton once again delights in one of his last silent films with brilliant sequences, an action-packed, turbulent storyline, and, of course, a touching love story!
