Brief Overview:
A love story set in the circus world.
De fire Djaevle is one of the major international successes of early Danish silent cinema, based on a novella by Herman Bang. The story follows an elderly clown who takes in four children to protect them from a brutal circus owner. He trains them to become successful trapeze artists, who come to be known as the “Four Devils.”
