A sculptor becomes famous through a work he created after a young girl as a model, but she will become his downfall.

His wife and child leave him, and when he sees himself betrayed by her, he destroys his artwork and finds death beneath its ruins…

About the music

The musical version will sound as it could have been in a cinema of the early silent film era.

Although it is a new composition, it captures the spirit of cine-historical film music from around 1910 to 1920.

Wilfried Kaets is one of the longest-serving silent film musicians in Germany and learned from old silent film pianists and organists such as Heinrich Riethmüller.
